not just sales. She is passionate about teaching her
clients all they need to know about finding the right
diamond for them.
" About a decade ago, my fiancé and I
started shopping for my engagement ring. This was
going to be my first piece of diamond jewellery. At
the time, neither of us knew much about diamonds and
the jewellers we visited did not offer much information.
All I knew was that I really wanted a special diamond
ring that would dazzle and impress.
After some research, I was armed with enough information
to ask for what I wanted in my dream diamond. We began
our search again and visited a well known local jeweller
(we lived in Montreal at the time) to ask about finding
my diamond. We explained to the sales associate that
we were looking for an “F-color, VVS clarity
diamond.” He immediately replied “Why
are you looking for such a high quality diamond?”
Well, we assumed that meant he didn’t stock
quality diamonds so we turned around and walked out.
Never fear, my story ends well. We eventually found
my dream diamond and have been happy with it ever
since.
But what I soon learned was that even though my search
for my own diamond had ended, my passion for diamonds
had just begun. After marrying and moving to beautiful
Vancouver, British Columbia, fascination with the
diamond industry was growing stronger. Since I couldn’t
fight it any longer, I enrolled with the Gemological
Institute of America and graduated from their Diamonds
Program. Then I mixed my passion with some hard work
and dedication and started my own diamond jewellery
business.
I have built my business on the principle of providing
only the finest diamonds and jewellery not commonly
found in regular retail stores. I am committed to
educating my clients about all the important characteristics
and qualities of diamonds to help them make informed
choices.
When my clients come in to see their diamond(s) for
the first time, I make sure they get up-close and
personal with them. There is something special about
seeing any inclusion
or microscopic inscription
that makes your
diamond uniquely yours.
I love what I do. And I still find diamonds as mesmerizing
as I did when I started. It makes me happy to know
that so many people are enjoying the special pieces
of jewellery they’ve purchased from me. I am
truly touched and grateful that I was entrusted to
be part of something so important in their lives."
